I grew up in the red rock landscapes of Sedona, where the desert’s shapes, colors, and quiet expansiveness first taught me to see beauty in the natural world. The Earth’s textures and forms continue to inspire my work, which is rooted in organic movement and simplicity.
Each piece of pottery I make is hand-built using coil and slab techniques. I treat the surface as a canvas, hand-painting glazes that echo the tones of stone, soil, sky, and plants. My process is slow and meditative, honoring the imperfections and individuality of clay. Every creation carries a part of my hands, my thoughts, and my feelings.
Beyond ceramics, I also love working with natural dyes from flowers and plants grown in my garden, creating linen garments that carry the same spirit of earth and handwork.
I am a mother, a maker, and an explorer of the desert. Whether I’m roaming the great outdoors or tending my garden, I return again and again to the simple connection between nature, craft, and daily life.
